A Quilt for a King

This quilt was especially made for our cousin's new baby boy, Little Tonka, who shared the same due date as his cousin, Little Cupcake. Babies are such a blessing and we are very happy to be able to Welcome Little Tonka into the family!!! Welcome Baby Boy!!!

He is such a sweet and good baby!!! And so long too! He going to be a football player just like his Daddy, Tonka, and his big Brother, Tonka Jr.

We made this quilt to complement Little Cupcake's Quilt so some of the common themes are that we used the same Blue Jean material to make both quilts and we finished the backs of with silly satin. Blue for Little Tonka and Pink for Little Cupcake.

Sadly, we lost all the pictures we had of our making the quilt together.

In addition to the Texas flare of the Denim, we used, Cute Choochoo Train print, and Bought super soft Puffy White fabric to emulate the smoke coming from the train's smoke stack. It was so much fun making the quilt for Little Tonka!!!
