Living Life on the Wild Side

Here are some fun items I made for a dear friend's baby this past week.

A set of three burp cloths in a jungle theme with our brown poka-dot ribbon.

And, two corresponding bibs!

All in all it made a very cute ensemble!!!

The Complete Ensemble

We recently created a whole ensemble for our little second cousin, Miss Madison Danielle, our recent posts have been to show you our progress step by step and now you can view the complete and finished project.

Monogrammed Quilt,
Gift Set of 3 Monogrammed Burp Clothes,
&
a Monogrammed Diaper Bag.

First we started with the quilt...

Then we monogrammed a diaper bag...

The Diaper Bag with the Paisleys was purchased by our Aunt independently and she had no idea what we had already planned!
(Please note we do not stock diaper bags.)

Because of the nature of the bag we could not embroider directly on to the bag...but not wanting to disappoint our aunt we got creative and came up with patches...which we then hand sewed to the bag! : ) I have a whole new respect for the ladies in days gone buy who only sewed by hand! Most impressive!

Next we have our Burp Cloth Gift Set...

The colors in ribbons and lettering not only tie in the Quilt, but also the Paisley Diaper Bag.

The Monogrammed square says:

Madison
Danielle
2010

When it was all said and done everything really just came together!

Blessings to you Miss Madison! We can't wait to meet you!
